This quote was said in one of my sources. This quote was said about World War 2 and the day when Pearl Harbor. The day America decided to join in the World War. What this quote meant by everyday life was dramatically altered was food, clothing, and gas became rationed. People had metal drives to help support America. Women, men, and children did everything they could to help out their troops. Women found employment that supported the war. For example, electricians, and workers at power plants.
