Pararaphs

These paragraphs our written based off my information that I have received from a interview with a friend who knows a lot about war, my own quote about consciences based off of another quote said by someone I do not know of, and information I have found. What are somethings that has repeat itself throughout history? Recent wars, underestimation of enemy troop strength, political bureaucracy, no clear after math plan, and waiting to long to enter a war are a few of the things that repeat itself throughout history. Every action has a conscience, with every conscience there is a lesson. The key to over come the conscience is to try to make it better. However, some of the consciences of America and other nations mistakes has caused other peoples lives, have scared children, and innocent people live in fear. I think that America is trying to change this. Because of the terrorist these people are in pain and in danger. So I believe America is trying to stop the terrorist to stop them from causing harm to innocent people.

We could have done better with our action plans. We could have observed the signs better. We could also have gone to war earlier or at least plan an evasion earlier. Why does history repeat itself you might ask. It is because most people do not learn from their mistakes. For example, America did not learn that staying out of a war does not help. However, we do not have to get in every war: Just the ones that are very important and are related to America. Which also brings back to mine and the other quote. If you do not learn from you mistakes and consciences your lessons wont teach you anything and you will most likely make the same mistake again until you learn your lesson. If not the first time, then you will learn not to make the same mistakes when you learn from the past mistakes. For most situations it is not good to live in the past but for war you need to learn from the actions that had consciences. To leave and forget the past you must learn from the past and present to make a better future.

Why do things turn out the way they do? Depends on your views. It is simply fate or simply a result of many happenings. Which do you think? Fate or a simply result of many happenings? Is war consciences fate or a simply result of many happenings? To me it is both. I believe in fate but actions can be our fate. If it wasn't for other nations actions on World War 2 then World War 2 probably wouldn't have happen or there wouldn't have been a cause for us to get involved.

Quote 5

 http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/07/world/middleeast/07iraq.html?_r=1&ref=iraq

" And ventured out, several people said they tried to avoid large crowds, and that they gotten in the habit of sending in a stream of reassuring text messages to nervous family members at home:Yes, we're all right. We're eating now. Everything is O.K. We'll be home soon."
These people have to live in worry. Even if they are just across the street or in the town eating food they have to send a message to their worried relatives saying they are all right and they will be home soon. Sure teenagers have parents that are like that were you have to call them and tell them were you are. BUT you don't have to send messages to your loved ones EVERYDAY saying you are all right and everything is OK. No one should live like that. Why should they? What did they do? Nothing. They are innocent people. And yet they have to live like this.

Quote 4

" And so, a new struggle for Iraq's nightlight has begun to play out in Baghdad. Its pits the resolve of Iraqis to stroll the their streets against insurgents who have used car bombs, suicide vests and automatic weapons to stalk them where they unwind." http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/07/world/middleeast/07iraq.html?_r=1&ref=iraq This was from New york Times, November 7, 2010.

These people in Baghdad, Iraq live in fear. Every night when the people of Baghdad walk the streets they are worried "Will I get blown up tonight?" Instead of "What should I buy?" To some people "Its like going into war."In the towns people and places are bombed. Innocent people are killed from these attacks. These people witness "war" from outside of their own houses. But these people, these brave people live on. This madness has become a living for them. They have gotten USED to this way of living. They have gotten used to it! No one should live in everyday fear! War and hate has caused this to happen. Children are growing up in this. How will this affect them? Children will probably learn from this. They will grow up in hate and death. They will never be able to go anywhere without a deep down fear in their hearts. Sure they will probably get used to it but the shouldn't get used to it. No one should live this way. NO ONE!

Quote 3.

"This initial lack of planning and strategy, along with an insufficient number of U.S. troops, stoked the insurgency.." http://www.armscontrolcenter.org/policy/iraq/?gclid=COeugsT4mKUCFbBl7AodnEEQJQ

This quote proves that America's lack of planning and strategy has affected our outcome of troops. Because of our lack of planning innocent soldiers and possibly citizens lives are being taken and affected. America needs to have a better plan before we get involved in anything. We need to communicate better and come together and try to create better ideas. We needed and need to act more wisely to save lives. We need to protect the lives of innocent citizens in Iraq and our troops. Because of our actions a innocent child in Iraq could have been shot or a father of many children could have been blown up or a solider; a father and a husband and a brother could have been taken because of a simple mistake of little planning or strategy. We need to become wiser. We need to think of all outcomes. No laziness should be use in war. We need to think of ways of less sacrifice. We need to save lives!

This is a picture of a Iraq solider. As you can see he is crying. I would like to know why is he crying. I am going to guess maybe he is has gone through enough and he has saw some terrible things that has hurt his soul. Soldiers are human. So they will feel pain at whatever they see, hear, experience. No matter how much training they go through, it will never really prepare them for the damage they will face. Is our war tactics the cause off some outcomes during the war. Is are thinking cause emotional and mental pain? I like for America and the other nations to think about that. Are our plans the cause of soldiers tears and blood and for innocent lives to be taken. Or are we helping them. Maybe making it worse? I got the picture from this website http://watergatesummer.blogspot.com/2009/11/england-is-examing-its-role-in-iraq.html

Quote 2.

http://www.history.com/topics/us-home-front-during-world-war-ii
"...And everyday life across the country was dramatically altered."
This quote was said in one of my sources. This quote was said about World War 2 and the day when Pearl Harbor. The day America decided to join in the World War. What this quote meant by everyday life was dramatically altered was food, clothing, and gas became rationed. People had metal drives to help support America. Women, men, and children did everything they could to help out their troops. Women found employment that supported the war. For example, electricians, and workers at power plants.

Photo 2.

This picture was created by Wyatt Blassingame after World War 2. I think this photo was trying to reach citizens to tell them that war nurses were there for their troops. I think this was created after World War 2 since the picture was made in the year 1967. I think the creater of this picture was trying to say that the most troops probably wouldn't be alive or in worse conditions of it wasn't for the combat nurses. http://tinypineapple.com/nurses/combat-nurses-of-world-war-ii

Famous World War 2 quote. By: Sir Winston Churchill.

October 1, 1939
"I can not forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside a enigma."  http://mr_sedivy.tripod.com/quotes12.html

This quote was said by Sir Winston Churchill. He said this quote during World War 1. Sir Winston Churchill was talking about Russia and how Russia actions are complex. They are complex because no one really knows what will they do. During World War 2 Russia switch sides. Russia was first with Germany, Japan, and Italy. However, Russia; Soviet Union switched to our side the allied powers. Which were Britain, France, Australia, and the United States. However, the Soviet Unions switch didn't happen until 1943. So I think Russia was making different plans before the switch. Maybe the plans and actions between the sides were confussed or quickly changed.

This poster was made by James Montgomery Flaggs and it was made in 1917. This picture/poster was used in World War 1 as proganda to try to get everyone: Men, woman, and children. To some how get involved in the war to support America. Whether it would be to join the war, donate clothes and goods to our soliders, making cloths for the soliders, or supporting the war. This picture has a women wearing patoric clothes so I think this picture is mainly trying to connect to the females in America because men are already out in the war fighting and childern can't really do much.

What I want to know about my topic.

While learning more about this topic I would like to learn more about the wars. I don't know much about World 1 and 2 and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. So I interviewed a friend of mine who knows alot about the wars. But I also would like to get more facts and opinions from different people. I would also like to gain knowledge about the war tactics that Ameirca used in World 1 and 2 and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. I want to learn about similarities in war plans that were used in World war 1, 2, Iraq war, and Afghanistan war. I would like to learn about America and the other nations involved with the wars, as well as strategies, weapons, and vehicles used by each country and how they served to the county's success or failure.

The reason why I choosed my topic.

I choosed my topic about the mistakes of wars and why they are/might be repeated because I am curious about wars and why they start. There is a lot of history through wars. I wish to find out the concepts of wars and why the actions in wars were used. I see two sides to mostly everything. So, I want to learn to the causes and effects of wars to know why we and other nations choosed the options that we/they choosed. I am curious about our nations and other nations past. The reason why is because maybe our choices in war and their choices in war are repeated in the present and maybe the future.
